Frequently Asked Questions

What is IV hydration therapy?

IV hydration therapy delivers fluids, vitamins, and minerals directly into the bloodstream through an intravenous line. Because nutrients bypass the digestive system, they are immediately available for absorption and use by the body. IV therapy has long been used in hospitals and clinical settings and is now available in the comfort of your home, office, or hotel.

Who administers the treatments?

All IV treatments are administered by licensed Registered Nurses under the supervision of a Physician or Advanced Practice Provider. Our team follows Kentucky Board of Nursing, Board of Pharmacy and Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure guidelines to ensure the highest level of safety and professionalism.

Where do you provide services?

We provide mobile IV therapy services in Louisville, Kentucky and surrounding areas. Treatments are administered in your home, office, or hotel for your convenience.

How long does an IV treatment take?

Most appointments last approximately 45–60 minutes. Treatment time may vary depending on the specific infusion and your individual needs.

Is IV therapy safe?

When administered by trained medical professionals, IV therapy is generally safe and well tolerated. Prior to treatment, all clients complete a medical intake form and are evaluated to ensure they are appropriate candidates for IV therapy.

Our nurses are trained in IV placement, aseptic technique, and emergency response protocols.

What conditions can IV therapy help with?

IV hydration and vitamin therapy may support:

• Dehydration

• Migraine symptoms

• Fatigue and low energy

• Immune support

• Athletic recovery

• Hangover symptoms

• General wellness support

IV therapy is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.

Do you accept insurance?

At this time, we do not bill insurance. IV therapy services are considered elective wellness treatments and are self-pay.

What should I expect during my appointment?

You will evaluated by an APP or MD via a phone Telehealth visit prior to your treatment per state regulations.

Your nurse will:

  1. Review your medical intake and history
  2. Take vital signs
  3. Confirm the appropriate treatment
  4. Start your IV using sterile technique
  5. Monitor you throughout the infusion

You can relax, work, watch TV, or rest during your treatment.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

We recommend:

• Eating a light meal beforehand

• Drinking water prior to your appointment

• Wearing comfortable clothing with easy access to your arm

Can I receive IV therapy if I have medical conditions?

Certain medical conditions (such as kidney disease, heart failure, or uncontrolled hypertension) may make IV therapy inappropriate. We carefully review medical history before every treatment to ensure safety.

Do you offer group bookings or events?

Yes. We offer group bookings for wellness events, corporate settings, athletic recovery, and special occasions. Contact us directly for pricing and scheduling.

What if I am nervous about needles?
